Education Committee is responsible to over-see Sunday School and our future full-time preschool program at UIC Masjid.
Organize events for children aged 5 to 12, such as weekly storytime, to help lay the foundations of becoming strong Muslims.

Zakat Committee is responsible for reviewing, processing, and distributing money to the applicants who apply for funds in their time of need. This committee has three members.
All Ramadan-related activities, such as daily hosting of Iftar, Khatm-e-Quran, and organizing the annual community Iftar.
Arranging the annual Seerat-un-Nabi program, Fundraising Dinners, and other annual events. NOTE: The Social Affairs and the Special Events committee will work closely together.
