- Provide a Community Center for congregation prayers, form and operate a full time Islamic School and a wide range of Islamic community activities that is easily accessible to those living in the south part of Salt Lake Valley;
- Arrange activities, which are responsive to the needs of future generations, such as helping children, identify and value their Islamic roots, and nurture leadership qualities in our youth;
- Instruct by example, that a Community Center is not complete without community activities, recreational events and opportunities, families doing things together, discussion of controversial topics, friendly disagreements, supportive friends, willing listeners, and the input of all who want to contribute constructive ideas;
- Operate a progressive Community Center, that is inclusive, rather than exclusive; where various sects/groups equally welcome, respected and encourages the involvement of all members including women and youth;
- Network with other Islamic organizations, to enhance the spirit of Islamic brotherhood;
- To develop mutual respect with non Muslim residents through the education and propagation of Islam;
